Common Scenarios

These are some of the situations you might bring to coaching.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to change before we start.
We can begin with what's happening now and figure out what you want to do next.

‍ ‍

Life transitions

  • You spent twenty years being the person everyone leaned on, and now that the leaning has stopped, you don't recognize the quiet, or yourself in it.

  • The life you're standing in checked every box you once wanted, and you're still asking "is this it," which feels ungrateful and true at the same time.

  • You've outgrown the version of yourself everyone knows, and you're not sure how to change without unsettling the people around you.

  • A milestone birthday is coming, and you want the next decade to be chosen, not just arrived at.

Communication

  • You've stayed in something long past the point of comfort, because leaving would mean admitting years were spent on something that wasn't working, and you're not ready to call it that yet.

  • You keep making the same relationship decision for reasons that made sense once, and you're ready to make the next one on purpose instead.

  • You're single at a time you thought you'd be partnered, and you want to build a life that's fulfilling on your terms instead of waiting on someone else's timeline.

  • An aging parent needs more from you, and you're working out what you can give, what you want to give, and how to sort that out with siblings who see it differently.

Relationships

  • You know exactly what you'd say if you just said it, but part of you keeps betting that staying quiet a little longer is safer, and you're tired of that bet.

  • A conversation is coming that matters, and you want your opening line, your fallback if it goes sideways, and your closing ask worked out before you walk in, not replayed after you walk out.

  • You have feedback to give, or feedback you're still chewing on, and you want to keep it honest without it turning into a fight or a freeze.

  • You know what you mean, but people keep hearing something different, and you want the words and approach that land the way you intended.

Meaning and the
bigger picture

  • You've built a life that works on paper, and something in you keeps asking what it's all for, but you can't say that out loud without feeling dramatic.

  • You know what you value, but your calendar tells a different story, and you want your days to start matching your priorities.

  • You want to contribute something that outlasts your to-do list, and you're stuck between "not yet" and "who am I to try."

  • Success stopped feeling like the point some time ago, and you're not sure what should take its place.

Career and work

  • You've never believed this is how work was supposed to look, and you're ready to stop building someone else's company and build a business of your own.

  • You're good at a job you've outgrown, and staying is comfortable enough that leaving feels like a risk you can't justify.

  • You're being considered for a bigger role, and you can't tell whether you want it or just feel obligated to want it.

  • You've stopped believing work has to swallow your life, and you want a career built around the life you want, not the other way around.

Clarity and direction

  • You have good options and no clear way to choose, and the more you think about it, the less certain you get.

  • You know something has to change, but you can't tell what, and you're tired of circling it alone.

  • Everyone around you has an opinion, and none of them are objective, so you can't hear your own.

  • Something just happened, and you want to think it through out loud with someone who has no stake in the outcome, before you react
